 Coach Anthony Tamburrino is the founder/Owner of X-treme MMA American Top Team Apuna Wrestling Team Training Center has worked in law enforcement for 22 years. He started wrestling in elementary school and continued into middle and high school and collegiate levels. He started boxing at "Somkin"Joe Frazier's Gym in 1979 and continued until 1985. He is an expert in several martial art disciplines. He holds a 2nd Black Belt in the Okinawa Kenpo/ Kobudo, a 2nd Black Belt in Military Combat Sambo. Also, he is a 2nd Black Belt in Matsukazi Ryu JuJitsu (Title: Nidan) and is a Level 3 Instructor Miletich Fighting System certified by Pat Miletich himself in Bettendorf, Iowa. Also, he is an Assistant NHB MMA/ Wrestling Coach with Mark Hatmaker. A member with the National Wrestling Coaches  Association. In addition, Mr. Tamburrino is an MMA official with the New Jersey State Athletic Commission and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Commission and is an official for Grapplers Quest  Also, Mr. Tamburrino is a certified Abu Dhabi Combat Club Submission Fighting Referee by the ADCC USA FEDERATION. NESTA  Certified Instructor in Performance Sports. 35 years of wrestling D1 and International experience. Here is a few of his many qualifications. 89 High School Wins Overbrook High School District 30 Champion, State District, Sectional and Regional Qualifier and place holder. Christmas City Tournament Champion, Marine Corp Ultimate Challenge 2x Free Style Wrestling Champion. Coach T is an Assistant  Wrestling Coach Central Bucks Raiders (2009-2010) Head Wrestling Coach (2010-2011-2011-2012),Assistant Wrestling Coach William Tennent High School (2011-2012). Assistant Wrestling/NHB Coach with Mark Hatmaker (Extreme Self Protection). Coach Tamburrino is a licensed Professional Mixed Martial Arts Judge with the State of New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Athletic Control Board. He has judged Main Card events in UFC, Strike Force, Ring of Combat, Bellator, and CFFC.

Coach Tamburrino is a certified Federal Firearms Instructor United States Customs Enforcement (FI0502), Graduated Federal Law Enforcement Instructor Training Program (601), Federal Law Enforcement  Adjunct Instructor Training Program (502), Federal Law Enforcement Instructor Techniques for Lethal/Non Lethal Training Ammunition. Instructor Development Course US Federal Air Marshal Service (Train the Trainer) Immigration Customs Enforcement US Department of Homeland Security.

Mr. Tamburrino served  Police Department in the Philadelphia area for 17 years and was assigned to several high level proactive departments. He was promoted to Supervisor in 1995 and led several highly distinguished investigational units within and outside his police department. After September 11 he was selected over 300,000 applicants to become an elite United States Federal Air Marshal. After graduation from two federal training centers, he flew protective mission status flights assigned domestically and overseas. He was assigned as a Federal Air Marshal Instructor for the Department of Transportation Security Administration, United States Department of Homeland Security. He has instructed thousands of United States Federal Air Marshal agents as well as International Air Marshal/Agents from countries of China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Poland, Mexico, Australia, and Canada in counter terrorism and anti-hijacking tactics for air and ground security operations, hand to hand combat defensive-offensive measures, ground fighting, surveillance detection an implementation and firearms tactics. Also, he was assigned to instruct pilots and crew in crew member self defense, and firearm tactics who are enrolled in the Federal Flight Deck Officer (FFDO) armed pilot program. Coach Jeff Cobb is a First Degree Black Belt with the United States Judo Association and a 2nd Black Belt in Matsukazi Ryu Jiujitsu. Mr. Cobb is a multiple time gold medalist in various grappling/submission competitions.  Mr. Cobb holds two Master’s degrees and work as an educational specialist with children K-12.  He is a fan of MMA and enjoys working out, coaching, and sharing techniques with the competition team

 

/Brad Silimperi - Coach Silimperi is the founder and club director of TEAM APACHE WRESTLING CLUB and is the head coach at Council Rock South High School. He was an assistant at Council Rock High School for 5 years before the school split and also served as head coach at Richboro Junior High School for 2 years. At CR SOUTH Coach Silimperi has produced 25 District One Champions, 13 Southeast Regional Champions, 16 PIAA State medalists and 5 PIAA State Individual Champions. In only their 3rd year in existence (2005) Coach Silimperi along with the CR SOUTH coaching staff led the CR South Golden Hawks to their first ever PIAA State Team Wrestling Championship. In 2007 Coach Silimperi and his staff were the District 1 Coaching Staff of the year.Coach Silimperi wrestled for Nazareth High School in the famed District 11, where he set the school record for wins with a career mark of 131-9-1. He was a 3 time District 11 Champion, 4 time Northeast Regional Champion and 3 time PIAA state finalist, winning a state championship in 1988. After high school he attended the University of North Carolina and then transferred to Lock Haven University, where he was coached by Council Rock alumni, Carl Poff. While at Lock Haven University, Coach Silimperi was a 2 time NCAA DIV. 1 National Qualifier and a 2 time NCAA Academic All-American. After graduating from LHU, Coach Silimperi has taught in the Council Rock School District for the past 13 years. Currently he teaches Advanced Placement Psychology and Accelerated Psychology at South. In addition to teaching, Coach Silimperi likes to spend his free time down the shore. coach-rigousJoe Rigous: Coach Rigous has an incredible resume. He is currently the head coach at WILLIAM TENNENT High School and he has coached at all levels developing wrestlers of all ages. He has been a coach of the SPARTAN YOUTH WRESTLING CLUB in Warminster from 1998-2007. Coach Rigs joined the  Apache staff in 2007.He also is a coach of the SEPA WRESTLING CLUB and served as a coach on their 2007 Junior National Team. Currently Coach Rigous is the HEAD WRESTLING COACH at WILLIAM TENNENT HIGH SCHOOL. He also has served as an assistant coach at both CB West and CB East High Schools from 2004-2007. Coach Rigous was a graduate of NESHAMINY HIGH SCHOOL, MAPLE POINT in 1977 and East Stroudsburg University in 1985. On the mat his accomplishments speak for themselves. Here is a short list!

 Jay Pekala, Jay began Muay Thai Training in 1991 with Master Instructor Bob Karmel (Philadelphia Muay Thai Association) and has trained through the years at several MMA Schools with many Instructors and Muay Thai Champions such as Master Ajairn Chai Sirisute, Kurmon Vaitayanon, Master "K" aka I Swak Kwan (Mr. Axe Elbow), Pongsak Cheawscan "Kaensak" and earned his Muay Thai Instructor Certification from Sakasem "The Pusnisher" Kanthawong. Jay is a certified Training Specialist through NESTA and graduated from the National Personal Training Institute with a 98% GPA. He has successfully trained athletes in strength and conditioning and Muay Thai for over 10 years.
